Lincoln Cathedral has one of only 4 copies of the original charter.
Stephen Langton was Archbishop of Canterbury at the time, and because he was from Langton-by-Wragby, a village close to Lincoln, it was thought a fitting tribute to carve a representation of him to celebrate the special anniversary.
The carving can be found in the north-east transept of the cathedral surrounded by an exhibition and a facsimile of the original historic document.
